Aims and Objectives
To contribute to creating, encouraging and promoting a dynamic contemporary arts climate within
Aylesbury and the Vale by proactive participation in the quest for more visual arts opportunities and events
therein.
To present themed art shows in alternative exhibiting sites and venues
to promote the work of the group and increase the visibility of their
artistic output.
To seek support from appropriate funding bodies and local businesses
with regard to the above.
To create networking and professional development opportunities.
To develop long-term links and partnerships with local businesses and
organisations to promote Aylesbury and the Vale as a vibrant environment
for creative practice.
To maintain independence as an artist-led, unincorporated organisation
whilst pursuing objectives with a high degree of professionalism.
Membership
Professional visual artists, art supporters, patrons and local businesses with an interest in, and
support
of, our aims and objectives.
Management
Stephanie Dubois – Director and Curator
Laura Jones – Director and Business Manager
Finance
All money raised by or on behalf of awful/FANTASTIC! shall be applied
to continuing with its aims and objectives.
No membership fee will be charged, although an appropriate application or arrangement fee will be charged
for each submission of work together with 30% commission of any sales during exhibitions.
A bank account will be maintained and managed by the Directors. Either Director may sign all cheques.
The financial year of awful/FANTASTIC! shall run from 1st April to 31st March.
No Director of awful/FANTASTIC! shall be personally liable by reason
of any mistake, or omission made in good faith by any member, business
supporter or partner other than wilful fraud, wrongdoing or wrongful omission
on the part of a member, business supporter or partner who is sought to
be made liable.

Dissolution
If the Management decide at any time that on the grounds of expense or
otherwise it is necessary to dissolve awful/FANTASTIC!, it shall notify
all members, business supporters and partners accordingly providing no less than 21 days notice.
